Bio

Andrew C Hasler

Born 1967

I have always been captivated by art and have always had the need to create since I can remember.  After serving an apprenticeship and having had a career restoring Rolls Royce and Bentley cars at P & A Wood in Essex, I left in 1999 to pursue my passion, art. Channeling some of the skills learnt through classic car body restoration into my sculptural work and using materials from the motor trade, I create contemporary shapes and vibrant high finish work that will stand the test of time. My work is of sculptural form often simplifying subjects into their basic shape and I always have the aim to create a piece that is both tactile and visually pleasing.

With my marine wildlife paintings, I aim to capture the spirit and at the same time capture the movement and light in an uncluttered composition so that your attention is drawn to and focused on the subject.
